The interview consists of the following two parts:

Part 1: Individual Interview (Personal Aspirations, Individual Presentation and Portfolio Presentation)

Individual interview is to assess a candidate's basic understanding and involvement in Visual Arts subject. Before the interview, candidates should have already uploaded photo/digital files of their artworks on a specific date. During the interview and for Portfolio Presentation, candidates are expected to display and share no more than 3 individual artworks personally, regardless of creative medium.

Part 2: Practical Test

This part is ONLY for those candidates without Level 4 or above in Visual Arts in the HKDSE.

The Practical Test examines a candidate's ability in creating artwork and the capability of visualizing expression and communication through medium. The day before the test, candidates should prepare their own art supplies (i.e., A2 drawing paper, pencils, erasers, brushes, paints, glue, water containers) and other visual materials for reference (i.e., magazines, books). Candidates will receive more details of the Practical Test by email.

• present the result slip of HKDSE or certificate of relevant Applied Learning Courses (if any) for the interviewer's checking of arts examination performance.

1. The interview is composed of three parts: (i) written test, (ii) group interview and (iii) physical fitness test.
2. For the group interview, 4 to 6 candidates will be assigned to each group. Each candidate will first be given one minute to express their opinion on the discussion topic in English, and engage in the discussion in Cantonese afterwards.
3. The physical fitness test involves four items: (i) Sit-ups (1 minute); (ii) Sit and Reach; (iii) Pull-ups (Male) / Flexed Arm Hang (Female); and (iv) 25 meters front crawl and 25 meters breaststroke.

1. All candidates will participate in the written test first. Candidates will then be divided into groups to participate in the group interview or the physical fitness test, and complete the remaining part in the end. Candidates should pay attention to the notification from the Registry on the detailed interview arrangements.
2. Candidates may refer to the website of the Department of Health and Physical Education for the suggested scoring criteria for physical fitness test.
3. Candidates will be required to complete an online personal particular form with supporting documents before the interview. All original copies of relevant supporting documents must be brought along for verification on the interview day.
