Selection Criteria
The University adopts a holistic approach in the assessment of applicants' suitability for teacher education and the multidisciplinary programmes. In selecting students for our full-time undergraduate and higher diploma programmes, we take into account their public examination results, band choices, non-academic achievements, school principal's recommendations and interview performance etc. For entry to the specific programmes like Chinese, English, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education and Visual Arts, applicants have to demonstrate a required level of competence in the subject area.
Students nominated under various nomination schemes will be considered favourably with good school reference reports and interview performance.
