To formally enrol as a student of EdUHK, you are invited to complete the following online registration procedures as listed below. New students are NOT required to undergo registration in person and will receive details through email.

Please read carefully all the information on this website and take appropriate actions as required.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

You will receive your EdUHK student number through your registered email. Please read through the New Students Information Sheet on IT Services and follow the instructions to activate your student account to enjoy various online services, including your EdUHK email (@s.eduhk.hk), access to The Portal, online course registration, online hostel application, etc.

You must upload a photo to the EdU Card Photo Upload System for production of Student EdU Card. Notifications will be delivered to your registered email, EdUHK email (@s.eduhk.hk) and via SMS once your EdU card is ready for collection. For enquiry, please contact IT Help Desk at helpdesk@ocio.eduhk.hk or 2948 6601.

If you are told that your registration to the programme is provisional, please arrange to send the OFFICIAL or OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED TRUE COPY of the relevant academic document(s) as indicated on your registration notification by the stipulated deadline.

If all your academic documents have been verified, you will be regarded as having completed this step.

Submitting forged documents is a crime under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200 of the laws of Hong Kong). A person committing the offence of forgery is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment. The University reserves the right to report the cases to the police and take appropriate legal actions against the person who makes or uses a false instrument for admission purposes before and after admissions.

As you start your student life at EdUHK, you are required to attend a series of mandatory briefing sessions. A separate email regarding Programme Introduction Arrangement will be sent to you nearer the time. You may also click the following hyperlinks for information delivered online:

ORIENTATION AT EdUHK

A series of orientation activities have been prepared to help you navigate the dynamic student life at the University and meet fellow students and teachers. Each full-time HD/UG freshman will be paired with a senior EdUHK Peer Mentor, who will guide you through your new journey here. Mentors will share their experiences of university life and study tips, assist with your adaptation needs, and organise a variety of welcoming activities. Fare for Student: HK$6.4 per trip by Octopus (new fare from 2 July 2024, pay after alighting at Block A Entrance Plaza)

  1. For the first-time access to the campus, students are required to show their printed offer/email upon boarding. For subsequent access to the campus, students will be requested to tap their Student EdU Cards for identity verification upon boarding. For details, please visit the Estate Office Website.
  2. University Shuttle Bus Service is for students and staff only.
