You will receive your EdUHK student number through your registered email. Please read through the New Students Information Sheet on IT Services and follow the instructions to activate your student account to enjoy various online services, including your EdUHK email (@s.eduhk.hk), access to The Portal, online course registration, online hostel application, etc.
You must upload a photo to the EdU Card Photo Upload System for production of Student EdU Card. Notifications will be delivered to your registered email, EdUHK email (@s.eduhk.hk) and via SMS once your EdU card is ready for collection*. For enquiry, please contact IT Help Desk at helpdesk@ocio.eduhk.hk or 2948 6601.
* Students are required to complete the Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Scam Quiz (please login with your student login account) with a passing rate of 85%. Otherwise, your student card will be withheld, and therefore you will not be able to access the library and other on-campus facilities.

If you are under the age of 18 as of 6 August 2025, please download and complete the Parental Consent Form. Please upload the signed form onto your online application account of our Online Application System.
A Profile of New Full-time Students

If you are told that your registration to the programme is provisional, please arrange to send the OFFICIAL COPY of the relevant academic document(s) as indicated on your registration notification by the stipulated deadline. The document(s) should be sent directly to the University from the issuing authorities. Please click HERE for details.
If all your academic documents have been verified, you will be regarded as having completed this step.

Eligible students will receive an email from shostel@eduhk.hk about hall application upon completion of programme registration.
**Important Note**
All applicants are required to meet the stipulated entrance requirements of the programme. The University reserves the right to revoke/void any offer if applicants fail to meet the entrance requirements or provide the original documentations for verification.
Making, submitting or using any false instrument (including forged documents) are serious criminal offences under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200 of the laws of Hong Kong). A person committing the offences relating to forgery or false instruments is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment. The University shall consider the relevant evidence and report suspicious cases to the Hong Kong Police. The University reserves the right to take appropriate legal actions against persons who make, forge or use a false instrument for admission and any other academic purposes before, during and after the admission process.

ORIENTATION AT EdUHK
A series of orientation activities have been prepared to help you navigate the dynamic student life at the University and meet fellow students and teachers. Each full-time HD/UG freshman will be paired with a senior EdUHK Peer Mentor, who will guide you through your new journey here. Mentors will share their experiences of university life and study tips, assist with your adaptation needs, and organise a variety of welcoming activities.
