      The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is aware of recent social media posts issued by unidentified individuals disseminating misleading information related to the University’s admissions. These posts, purportedly shared for commercial purposes, include alleged details concerning admissions criteria, grading mechanisms, and interview strategies for specific programmes. EdUHK solemnly clarifies that such information is false and inaccurate. Applicants are strongly advised to remain vigilant to avoid being misled and to protect themselves from potential losses.

      The University reiterates that it has not collaborated with any agency—whether in the Chinese Mainland or Hong Kong—on admissions matters, nor does it disclose admissions-related details to any individual or organisation for commercial use. EdUHK does not encourage applicants to entrust their applications to third-party agents.

      For accurate and up-to-date information on admissions pathways, recruitment policies, admissions criteria, and interview arrangements, applicants should refer exclusively to the information published on the official EdUHK website.

       

      EdUHK is one of the teacher education providers in Hong Kong, China. Graduates of our Postgraduate Diploma in Education programmes are eligible to apply to become fully qualified Registered Teachers. For registration as a teacher, graduates should approach the Teacher Registration Team of the Education Bureau (EDB) to submit applications directly. All applications will be independently assessed by the EDB which will consider, among other things, whether an applicant has been convicted of any criminal offence (including sex-related offences) in Hong Kong or elsewhere, or is involved in any ongoing criminal proceedings or investigations.
