- utilise AIGC tools (for multimedia elements) to generate and refine audio, images, animations, and video to enhance teaching and learning quality, such as catering to diverse learning needs and learning styles of students, thus nurturing AIGC literacy of in-service teachers and their students.
Programme Structure
The programme comprises the following core course of 3 credit points:
Enhancing Primary Education with AI-Powered Multimedia Tools
This course explores Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) multimedia tools and their potential. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the benefits, limitations, and ethical considerations associated with using AIGC tools. The course is structured to equip participants with practical skills in utilising AIGC tools for both text and multimedia content. Participants will also learn to integrate AI-generated content with subject knowledge to support preparing learning materials and assessments in diverse learning environments. The course emphasises using AIGC tools to generate and refine multimedia elements, including audio, images, animations, and video. These skills will empower participants to enhance the quality of teaching and learning by catering to students’ varied learning needs and styles. Through hands-on practices, participants will also develop AIGC literacy, preparing them to effectively incorporate these technologies into their teaching practices.
