課程目標
本課程旨在裝備幼兒教育工作者，學習有效的家校合作策略，以促進不同背景家庭的幼兒之學習和發展。學員將從社會生態角度，了解不同的家庭因素對幼兒學習之影響。學員亦會認識並檢視香港幼教時期之家校合作的情況。最後，學員會探索如何透過家校合作，投放適當資源，以支援幼兒之學習和發展。
學員修畢本課程後，應能：
- 檢視轉變中的社會之不同家庭所面對的問題和挑戰
- 了解不同家庭的需要對幼兒學習和發展之影響
- 重新詮釋家校合作對支援幼兒學習所扮演的角色
- 運用不同程度而具效能的家校合作策略去幫助幼兒學習和發展
課程結構
本課程為三十九小時的課程，其內容等同三學分的課程。課程大綱如下：
- 家校合作的理論
- 幼兒學習及發展與家校合作之關係
- 不同家庭背景的幼兒之需要和困難（例如: 低收入家庭、新移民家庭、有特殊需要的幼兒之家庭、家庭暴力之家庭、單親家庭及非華語家庭）
- 不同背景之家庭所面對的挑戰對幼兒學習及發展的影響
- 有效促進幼兒學習及發展的家校合作策略
教學語言
本課程以中文（粵語）授課。

本課程每學年開辦一期，上課日期（共五天）暫定為：

入學條件
申請人須：
- 擔任領導職位的現職學前教育機構教師；及
- 獲任教學校校長推薦。
證書頒授
學員必須於所有評核習作中獲得及格成績，並達到課程所要求的出席率，方可獲頒授畢業證書。
成功修畢在職教師專業進修課程之學員，在報讀本校研究生課程時，可申請學分轉移。本校將按情況個別考慮申請。
